OFFICER DIRECTOR In terms of section 9 (3)(f) of Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act 1980 read with clause No.9 (1) and (2) of Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1980, one director on the Board of Corporation Bank is appointed by the Government of India (Ministry of Finance, Banking Division) to represent the officer employees. He should be a serving officer. The candidate is selected from the panel suggested by the officers’ association which has majority strength. The nominee director’s term is 3 years.
