The CBOO-Benevolent Fund scheme came into being on 1st January 1982. The membership of the fund is voluntary and open to the members of the Corporation Bank Officers' Organisation. The subscription payable by a member to the fund initially was a nominal amount of Rs.10/- per month which is refunded to the member. At present it is Rs.50/- per month The scheme is run on the income from out of the investment of subscription amount.
